Thank you for all of the email communication to us vendors and for your efforts in promoting AMC and our small businesses. Its very encouraging and motivating! And the team (both back dock and cashiers up front) are always very helpful.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you and everyone at American Classics for the warm welcome and all the help the that been extended to me since I rented a space at the Marketplace near the end of September 2013.
While my space is always evolving one thing has remained constant, the great attitudes and help I have received from everyone who is employed or volunteers at the mall. In particular I wanted to mention two groups.
Leonard, Dan and Duncan have been invaluable to me. They are always funny, kind, and quick to offer help whenever asked. When they’ve had to move a large item from my area after a sale they’ve consistently done their best to make my room look acceptable when I’ve needed a day or two to replenish my inventory. A great crew of young men.
The second group are the ladies that work at the desk and deal directly with the customers. I’m embarrassed to say I can’t remember all of their names and I’d feel remiss naming only a couple. Every one of them have been incredibly helpful with sales. Being that I’m new to this business I sometimes struggle when I get a call concerning a customer making an offer of one of my items. Often times I’ve told the sales associate my rock bottom price only to find when I get my “daily sales tag” email, they have actually sold the item for a little bit more than the price I quoted. Again everyone of them have been gracious and helpful in introducing a novice such as myself to this business. I truly can’t say enough good things about them.
Finally I should mention Bernice, Steve and also David. At the risk of being redundant each of them have been patient and helpful with me on numerous occasions, whether it be listening to my insecurities concerning my inventory or just giving me advice on pricing and even refinishing and repairs.
As I said I’m pretty new to all of this. The entire staff at American Classics has made my transition from collector to dealer a great learning experience. Perhaps more importantly they’ve given me invaluable advice and the confidence to try new things. I’ve been on disability for a few years and it’s always challenging for me to have social interaction. The fact that all of these wonderful people at the Marketplace have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome is nothing short of amazing.
Gary, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a vendor in your mall. After struggling with my disability for so many years this endeavor has truly made my life better in ways I can’t begin to explain. All of these people have encouraged me to be myself and enjoy the ride, so to speak. I can’t honestly put into words how much everyone’s support has meant to me. My heartfelt thanks to you and your entire staff.
